"Being an athlete in college is a fantastic experience. You come in as part of a team. You travel to new places and meet new people. You learn to multi-task and manage your time better than you ever have in the past.

Most athletes will know what it’s like to fight for a spot to play. You will learn how to win with humility and how to lose with grace. Some of the best lessons learned are on the bench, while wondering why you're there but simultaneously being so happy for your teammate that took your spot.

The memories made and lessons learned will stay with you for life. But, it’s not easy. Managing training and game schedules while taking collegiate level classes is hard. It’s a huge challenge and it’s not for everyone but if it's a challenge you're up for, it's one worth taking on.
